Our process of making posts
Scaling and sorting
The incoming logs are first sorted by length and diameter. The selected locust trees with regular diameters are cut to size and transported to the next processing location with crane trucks.
Manual debarking, removal of sapwood
We remove the outer sapwood layer exclusively by hand, ensuring that only the durable, natural heartwood remains. This is more resistant to rotting and fungus, ensuring a longer service life.
Polishing, surface treatment
Polishing makes the surface of the posts smooth and free of splinters, making them safe to use. In addition, by opening the pores, the surface treatment material also adheres more effectively to the prepared surface.
